Khagyun has no political agenda, and neither elicits nor edits political content in these stories. They have mostly been told by elderly people who have been through great upheavals, and Khagyun cannot ensure the historical accuracy of every story. In any case, we are concerned at least as much with "story" as we are with "history".

• Ganden Thurman at Tibet House New York ( www.tibethouse.org ) for all of his hard work in establishing the promising relationship between Tibet House and Khagyun

• Lhakdor, the new director of the Tibetan government-in-exile's Library of Tibetan Works & Archives ( www.freference@gov.tibet.net ) for also taking time to meet, and for sharing his experience and perspective

• Ms. Geeta Dharmarajan, the founder and director of the Katha Foundation in New Delhi, (www.katha.org) for taking time from her busy schedule to meet and provide Khagyun with several very good suggestions.
